I drink decaf only and only used whole beans. I was pleasantly surprised at how great this coffee taste. I have a four cup Mr Coffee maker and it made a wonderful pot of coffee. Over the years I have tried many many different decaf whole bean coffee. This is one of the best!!

I bought this because others have said that this was really good decaffeinated coffee. When I opened my package,I was disappointed that there was no aroma. None! I was also disappointed with the lack of flavor. I checked the expiration date on the bottom of the package and the date was three months from expiration. Perhaps I received a batch that had been mishandled somehow. Basically it had little flavor and in my opinion it was also slightly more acidic than what I expected.

I LOVE Halo Coffee Pods in general and the House Natural is excellent! Halo coffee pods contain more coffee in each pod than the typical coffee pod and I LOVE the extra bit of body and depth it gives ... Other coffee pods are too weak for me and if I wanted to drink tea (which I also love), I would make tea ... but I want my coffee to taste and feel like COFFEE! Halo is the very best and I hope that it is available to me forever! I love the charitable nature of the company too ... they share profits with the poor of the world ... and still seem to cost less than the other coffee pods! BUY THIS COFFEE ... You will love it!! "Regular Is a Dark Roast" 2010-03-03

You may like "regular" if you like a darker roast. I don't, so I won't review the flavor other than to say it's good with half-and-half, and a visitor who prefers dark roast liked it.

I'm a seasoned pod fan currently using a Cuisinart Cup-O-Matic and they work great. The pods contain more coffee than the store brands, but not as much as the large Baronet pods or the Wolfgang pucks. At first I didn't get my full 8-ounce cupful. They're made with more paper than the store brands, so more water is left in the pod. I tried the old trick I used to use with the Juan Valdez/Melitta machine. I run the pod quickly under the faucet first just to get the paper wet. Now I get perfect results.

I also brought out my Simple Human pod machine to test them in that one. Premoistening them made no difference because the holder is smaller; I got a full cup either way. They should work fine in the JV/Melitta and Black & Decker, which I've also owned.

At this great price and the opportunity to get free Amazon shipping, I plan to order again, just a different flavor.

We like this coffee very much and the price was excellent (although it appears to have gone up since we purchased two boxes.) We like coffee and love our one-pod coffee brewer so finding some good pods we can buy in bulk has been very good. We liked the variety pack and settled on the dark roast for later purchases. The Kona dark blend compares well against the Senseo brand Dark Roast. The Cafe Halo has a slightly more complex flavor and finish. Though it's similar, I prefer it slightly to the Senseo dark roast. It may be a touch more bitter, but I'm not sure.

The pods fit perfectly in my Senseo maker. They are just a touch larger than the Senseo brand pods.

I have a Senseo coffee maker and use it several times a day. I started out using the Senseo brand coffee pods but happened upon another brand on Amazon that was a bit cheaper but the pods had quite a bit more coffee in them. Cafe Halo is my most recent discovery and I am thrilled to have found them. The price is about 1/2 of the pods I have been using and the amount of coffee in the pods is about the same. Still what I would call oversized compared to the Senseo brand. In other words, Cafe Halo is a steal and the coffee is great. I would recommend to anyone.

These pods fit snugly in a new-generation Melitta 1:1 brewer (the one that makes real coffee instead of dark water).

Coffee is OK, but no longer the bargain it was when originally introduced 2 or 3 months ago. Price has almost doubled. Might as well buy Senseo, or better yet Melitta with the individual pod packs. Both are probably a bit superior to this brand and are now similarly priced.

Use of these Halo Decaf pods in my Senseo was very disappointing. The flavor of the coffee was quite mild to flavorless. So whether it's the Senseo coffee maker or the coffee pods is unknown but the results of the combination wasn't good. I did open the pods and used the coffee grounds in my four cup Mr Coffee maker. It actually made pretty good coffee. The pods, however, are too costly to use as premeasured one cup packs for a drip coffee maker. I won't buy this brand again in pod form.

I use them in my Senseo and if use two together I moisten them first to fit in the pod holder as each pod contains more coffee than the Senseo brand. I am looking forward to sampling all the varieties.
